Erinn Brooks

Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)

Pre- & Postnatal Coach

Erinn Brooks is the owner of Beltane Strength & Fitness, a fitness brand that offers science-backed personal and small group strength training that takes into consideration the unique experiences of women. After 6 years in group fitness and consistently seeing gaps in the level of education and coaching provided especially to women, Erinn and Beltane Strength & Fitness are on a mission to provide the highest level of coaching to women because women deserve better.

My coaching style and programming is highly inspired by my time as a Division I basketball player at Virginia Tech and my time as an intern in the Olympic weight room at UNC-Chapel Hill.

I spend my free time reading, going for long walks, and trying to keep up with my 3 chihuahuas. I’m an introvert inspired to be extroverted by my passion for helping women feel stronger in their bodies.

Erinn will be the lead coach & instructor for Strength for Moms.

Dr. Norah Whitten

Physical Therapist and Pelvic Health Specialist

Dr. Norah has been a physical therapist for nearly 10 years, with almost half her time specializing in pelvic health. After realizing there was a gap in care for active women when it came to pelvic health, Dr. Norah went full force into bridging that gap. With a background in strength & conditioning she understands the demands of lifting, running and HIIT training while also having advanced knowledge of the pelvic floor. This allows Dr. Norah to treat in a unique way and empower her patients beyond just doing Kegels or basic, boring exercises.

Dr. Norah worked with Erinn to create the perfect strength training series that covers all the needs of moms - core & pelvic floor connection and strength, a movement foundation, full body strength and education & knowledge that will last a lifetime.

Outside the clinic you can find Dr. Norah doing CrossFit, running, baking a healthy but delicious dessert, finding a good TV series to get hooked on and spending time with her husband Ben and kids Lucas & Maddie

What to expect at each session:

Dynamic Warm Up: Each session kicks off with 10-15 minutes of targeted warm-ups—like lateral lunges, bird dogs, and thoracic rotations—to wake up your muscles, boost mobility, and prep your core for action.

Full-Body Strength Circuits: Dive into 30-40 minutes of empowering strength work, blending exercises like squats with knee drives, deadlifts, and plank variations to build lean muscle and core stability, all tailored to your level with modifications or challenges as needed.

Core-Focused Finishers: Wrap up with 5-10 minutes of purposeful core work—think dead bugs, side planks, and glute bridges—designed to restore function and leave you feeling solid and supported.

Progressive Growth: Over 8 sessions, you’ll move from foundational moves to more dynamic challenges, building strength and confidence week by week in a supportive, small-group vibe

Expect to leave each hour-long session energized, connected, and proud of what you’re capable of—plus, you’ll get an optional at-home workout to keep the momentum going!

FAQ

How soon can I start after giving birth?

You’re welcome to join Strength for Moms if you’re 6 weeks postpartum or beyond and cleared by your healthcare provider. We’ll meet you where you are with modifications to ensure a safe, effective start.

Can I join if I'm pregnant?

Absolutely! As long as you have not been told by a healthcare provider you should not exercise for any reason we would love to have you join!

Do I need prior fitness experience to join?

Not at all! This program is designed for all levels—whether you’re new to strength training or looking to get back into it. We provide personalized adjustments to match your experience and goals.

What should I bring to the sessions?

Just bring yourself, a water bottle, and comfortable workout clothes! We’ve got all the equipment—like weights, mats, and bands—ready for you at Functional Phyzio.

What if I can’t make every session?

Life happens, and we get it! While we encourage attending all 8 sessions for the best results, you’ll still benefit from the ones you can make—plus, the optional at-home workout helps you stay on track.

Please note we are unable to prorate or provide refunds for missed classes but are happy to send you the workout that you missed so you can complete it on your own.

Can I bring my baby with me?

Due to space & safety it is preferred you do not bring your child with you. However, if needed you may bring your baby as long as they are non-mobile. Children who can crawl or walk will not be permitted for safety reasons.

How is this different from a regular gym class?

This is a small-group experience (max 6 moms) led by an expert in pre- and postnatal fitness, offering personalized attention and a focus on rebuilding strength safely—not just a one-size-fits-all workout.

What if I’m nervous about starting?

You’re not alone, and we’re here for it! Our supportive vibe, expert guidance and tight-knit group make this a judgment-free zone where you can build confidence at your own pace.
